Decent software, some glitches

Bought the Filmora for Windows perpetual license last month. The payment process was smooth, and I got the license key via email instantly. The software is good for beginners; I used the Instant Mode quite a bit. However, I found the AI Smart Cutout a bit buggy sometimes, didn't always work perfectly. Customer support responded in 2 days when I asked about a feature, which was okay. It handles my 1080p footage well.

They have both! You can do an annual subscription which is cheaper upfront, or pay once for a perpetual license. I went with the perpetual one last Black Friday, felt like a better deal long-term.

Yeah, if you're gonna use it a lot, the perpetual license is probably the way to go. Otherwise, the annual one gets you updates and everything for that year.

Does anyone know if Filmora ever does any good discounts? I'm a student and trying to save some money. Also, can you use one license on multiple computers 'cause I have a laptop and a desktop?

Oh for sure they have student discounts! Check their main site, usually there's a page for education pricing. And they do sales all the time, especially around holidays like Black Friday or Back to School. You can usually get 20-50% off.

About the license thing, I think a single license usually covers one computer at a time, but you might be able to deactivate it on one and activate on another. For using it simultaneously on both, you'd probably need a cross-platform plan or a business license, but definitely check their FAQ to be 100% sure on that.
